Copywriter – Bristol Water
We’re looking for an experienced Copywriter to join our in‑house creative studio at Bristol Water.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a Content Marketing Manager and Graphic Designers to create clear, engaging content that helps customers understand where their water comes from, the role water plays in local communities, and how individual actions can make a difference.
What you’ll be doing
Creating customer‑focused content across web, print, social, blogs, template letters and video scripts
Translating complex or technical information into accessible, engaging messages
Collaborating on campaigns to inform and influence customer behaviour
Working alongside designers to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together
Editing content to maintain accuracy, tone of voice and clarity
Supporting other digital content production and occasional studio admin
What we’re looking for
Relevant experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, or editorial roles, with a strong portfolio of work
Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
Experience communicating complex information clearly
Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
Degree‑level education (or equivalent experience)
Confident using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with video, audio or animation is a bonus.
